Web design in Murfreesboro, TN

I build websites for businesses in Murfreesboro and around Rutherford County. $1,500 to $3,500, one time, and you’ll know which one you need before you call me.

You own everything — the domain, the hosting, every password. Registered in your name, billed at cost, handed over at launch. No contracts on anything monthly.

What it costs

Starter $1,500 5 pages · contact form and click-to-call · basic local SEO · Google Business Profile connected
BusinessBest value $2,500 Up to 8 pages · custom design · copywriting help · full local SEO foundation
Growth $3,500 Everything in Business · a page for every town you serve · Google review system · analytics and launch report · 30 days of tweaks after launch

Domain and hosting run about $150 to $300 a year, paid by you, in your name, at cost. I don’t mark it up and I don’t hold it.

Want it looked after every month? Care plans are $150, $275, or $450. Ongoing search work is $350 to $1,100. All of it is on the pricing page — no call required to find out.

Why the prices are on the page

Call six web designers in Rutherford County and ask what a website costs. Most won’t tell you until you’ve sat through a consultation.

I think that’s backwards. If $2,500 is more than you want to spend, you should find that out in thirty seconds, not forty minutes. One local firm publishes a range of “$2,000 to $100,000+,” which is a way of appearing to answer without answering.

So: my numbers are above, they’re on the pricing page, and they don’t change based on how your business looks on a discovery call.

→ The full breakdown of what drives website pricing

You own it. All of it.

This is the part I care most about.

The domain goes in your name. Not mine, not an agency account. Hosting goes in your name, billed at what it actually costs, with no markup. Every password is handed to you at launch — hosting, domain registrar, WordPress admin, Google Business Profile, analytics.

If you fire me next year, you take the site and go. Nothing breaks. Nothing gets held.

I’m specific about this because the alternative happens to people around here more than you’d think — a designer who registered everything in their own name and used it as leverage when the relationship went sideways. If your current site is in someone else’s account, that’s worth finding out today, whether or not you ever call me.

My first client came to me after his previous web designer told him the site would be shut down unless he paid $2,000. A counseling practice here in Murfreesboro, one person, with his livelihood tied to a website he did not control. The domain had been registered in the designer’s own account, so even walking away was not simple. We got the domain back into his name, rebuilt the site on WordPress, and pointed everything at accounts he owns. He holds every password now. That is the whole reason I do it this way.

Built for how people actually find you

A website that looks good and can’t be found is decoration.

Every build includes the local SEO foundation: page titles written for how people search, a structure Google can read, your Google Business Profile connected to the site, and — on the Growth tier — a page for each town you serve.

Most of your customers will see the site on a phone, standing somewhere, deciding whether to call you. So it’s built mobile-first, with a click-to-call button that’s genuinely easy to hit.

Who I work with

Murfreesboro businesses, mostly small ones.

Contractors — HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, lawn care. Home-based and new businesses that need a first real site. Health and counseling practices. Anyone who’s been quoted Nashville prices for a Rutherford County business.

So far that has meant a counseling practice here in Murfreesboro and a nonprofit coalition over in Warren County, plus the contractors and small shops I talk to every week. A lot of owners around here are still working off a site a friend built years ago, on an account they cannot get into. That is usually where I start.

Beyond Murfreesboro

Rutherford County first, then out: Smyrna, La Vergne, Eagleville, Christiana, and Woodbury.

Also Warren County — McMinnville has its own page — plus Cannon, Coffee, and the rest of Middle Tennessee.

Same prices everywhere. A business in McMinnville doesn’t pay Nashville rates to be found in Warren County.

How it works

1. A call. Ten or fifteen minutes. What you do, who you’re trying to reach, what’s not working now. I tell you which build fits and what it costs. If the answer is “you don’t need me yet,” I’ll say that.

2. Content. Your services, your photos, your information. Copywriting help is included at Business and Growth if writing isn’t your thing — and for most people it isn’t.

3. Build. I build it, you see it, you tell me what’s wrong. Two rounds of revisions are included, which is honest — “unlimited revisions” is either priced in already or it’s a promise nobody keeps.

4. Launch. The site goes live, your Google Business Profile gets connected, and you get every password.

5. After. Care plan if you want one, nothing if you don’t. No contract either way.

Common questions

Do you use WordPress? Yes. It’s yours, it’s portable, and any developer can work on it. You’re not locked into a platform only I can touch.

What if I already have a site? Sometimes it can be fixed and sometimes it’s better rebuilt. I’ll tell you which before you pay me anything.

Do I have to buy a monthly plan? No. Plenty of clients pay once and handle it themselves. The plans exist for people who don’t want to think about updates, backups, or their Google profile.

How do I get out if it isn’t working? You cancel. Everything’s in your name already, so there’s nothing to pry loose. That’s the point.

Are you actually in Murfreesboro? Yes — not a national company with a Murfreesboro landing page. Look at who else ranks for this search and check where they’re based.
